Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance on Android in Ghana Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the performance of top navigation and maps apps on Android in Ghana showcased interesting trends, as observed from Sensor Tower data. Here, we delve into the weekly downloads and active user metrics of the leading applications.

GPS Satellite View: Live Maps from Sleek Mobile App experienced a varied pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.6K and peaking at 7.2K in early October. Active users showed a steady increase from 26.8K to 33.9K by the end of December.

The GhanaPostGPS app by Ghana Post Co Ltd saw a decline in downloads, starting at 3.4K and dropping to 547 by the end of the quarter. Its active user base also shrank from 15.4K to 11.2K over the same period.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer by Appcentric Team had fluctuating downloads, with a notable peak of 3.1K in early November. Its active users showed a similar trend, increasing to 2.1K before ending the quarter at around 1.2K.

The Voice GPS & Driving Direction app from Photo Mixer & Video Editor Zone exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, rising from 701 to 1.3K. Active users also increased, beginning at 337 and reaching 565 by the end of December.

Finally, Camera Location: Geotag Photos by GAM Mobile App showed a rise in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 804. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from 290 to 848.
